It was a tremendous weekend for the entire Club and the entire Blast FC Community, after four excruciating semi-finals, 3 of our four age groups advanced to the Ohio State Cup Finals that were played on Sunday at Darree Soccer Park in Dublin, OH.
All 3 of our teams won their respective finals and are now moving on to compete in The National Cup XX Midwest Regional in Waukegan/Libertyville, Illinois and The National Cup XX Finals in Commerce City, Colorado.
We are overjoyed and immensely proud of this incredible achievement!
Blast FC 2007 U14 Boys Win First Ohio State Cup Championship!
After defeating Liberty FC 3-1 in the semi-final, our U14 team overcame OPFC in the final of the 2007 Premier Division of the Ohio State Cup 2-0 and is now eligible to compete in Regionals for the first time!
A long year of very hard work finally paid off for our young squad and we applaud their perseverance and work ethic as they have come an incredibly long way to becoming Ohio State Cup Champions.
We are immensely proud of them during this exciting milestone of their young careers. Fantastic stuff U14s, and what a great way to cap off an incredible year!
Blast FC 2006 U15 Red Boys Win Ohio State Cup Championship in Dramatic Fashion!
After an extremely intense and difficult semi-final win of 1-0 vs Croatia Jrs., while down to nine men for a large portion of the 2nd half, our U15 moved into a dramatic final game vs. Erie Admirals.
Our U15 squad left it all out on the field in that final and won an eight-man PK shootout! Sudden death PKs were necessary after the first five shooters, and our confident and calm shooters persevered in the end. This has been an incredible year for our U15s, already crowned NPL MDL League Champions and now 2006 Super Division Ohio State Cup Champions to top off an unbelievable year. Good Luck at NPL Regionals and Nationals 2006s!

Blast FC 2004 U17 Boys: Shootout Kings!
After 80 minutes of heart-pounding action, FC Evolution and our U17 squad was deadlocked, and the game had to be settled in a PK shootout. We were victorious and had the opportunity to play against Croatia Jrs. in the 2004 Super Division Ohio State Cup Final. After another incredible 80 minutes, and a late comeback after going down 0-1 early in the 2nd half, our U17 squad found themselves once again in a PK shootout.
Five cool headed and focused players stepped up to the PK spot, and won an incredible thriller in dramatic fashion with high stakes. As champions, our U17s now move on to play in The National Cup XX Finals in July! This is an incredible achievement for our U17 squad and we are so excited to see what else they can accomplish following this terrific milestone.

Blast FC 2005 Boys Miss Out on Final After Late Loss
Despite a valiant effort by our U16 squad, we were unlucky to miss out on a State Cup Final berth after losing out to FC Evolution 0-1 during Saturday’s extremely contested match.
The U16s had a goal called back for offsides, and were unlucky to miss out on other chances as FC Evolution put a goal away midway through the 2nd half. It has been a very strong season for our U16 squad, and we are very excited to see what the future holds for them.
Keep up the great work guys, and keep aiming higher as we move forward! We are so proud of what you have achieved so far!
