Blast FC has entered into a strategic partnership with Romeo Jozak Ph.D. The collaboration originated from initiatives to increase the level of professionalism and player development in the Academy. This partnership will help both parties to create a better soccer environment where players can reach their full potential.

Romeo Jozak Ph.D. is a Croatian soccer expert in the field of developing Academy players. Romeo most recently managed the Kuwait national team and before that Legia Warsaw (Poland).

Romeo’s expertise goes back to managing one of the most successful European academies – GNK Dinamo Zagreb. GNK Dinamo produced 10 out of 20 players who won silver medal at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

He completed his doctorate education at the Faculty of Kinesiology at the University of Zagreb and holds UEFA “PRO” License. Romeo is also UEFA Development and Technical Assistance Committee member and UEFA Technical Instructor and Observer.

The partnership between Blast FC and Romeo Jozak Ph.D. will strongly benefit the Academy:

  1. Organized tryouts for Blast FC players in top European clubs
  2. Applying the ‘’Player development’’ curriculum
  3. Professional organizational structure
  4. Pragmatic approach to soccer
  5. Initiatives to build club’s training grounds

Initially, the partnership will revolve around developing young players, organizing tournaments, and implementing professional structure.

With time, Blast FC and Romeo Jozak Ph.D. will also collaborate on creating professional training grounds for the Academy.

During the great successes of Croatian National Team, Romeo was Technical Director of Croatian National Association. He made sure that everything related to the National Team was properly organized and well-managed.

Luka Modric, Mateo Kovacic and Mario Mandzukic were just a few players Romeo worked with.
